Usborne Books @ Hedgehogs

Yvonne from Usborne Books will be joining Hedgehogs on the 18th March. She has a brilliant selection of English books for babies right up to tweens and teens. Yvonne is going to be bringing a collection of books with her, we have a catalogue book with Usborne’s full collection at Hedgehogs and some smaller catalogue magazine’s for people to take away.

You will be able to purchase books on the day or email Yvonne with orders at a later date.

The plan is to have a book day once a month with Yvonne joining us.47277e4b88603b6e50e0ee284d3676da

Thank you!

Big “thanks” shout out goes to Marianna and Sarah for stepping in on March 11th to open and close Hedgehogs.

Also, Marianna will be running the show on the 18th March, too.

Högalid Hedgehogs 2016

Happy New Year everyone, welcome back to Hedgehogs.

Over the next few weeks the website will be updated with information about the group and the activities coming up in the next couple of months. Keep a weather eye!

For example, Book Club is re-starting in March and there will be more “guest” leaders joining in for activities in the coming months. If anyone has any great ideas or tips for things to do at Hedgehogs, do let us know either through the Facebook group or by email.

Summer times: Hedgehogs Playgroup goes to the park

Hi everyone,
As you may know (or may not know), the access to the buildings will be closed for most of the summer. This means that we won’t be able to have indoor access until the 28th of August.
We do think it is important to keep this playgroup open during the summer period and allowing more opportunities for social interactions with English speaking parents and children.
Therefore, the meetup group for the summer period will be at Högalid Park Playground which is adjacent to Högalid Kyrkan/Church. The park is still in the same premises, but just a different entrance.
Meetup location for the summer period: 12th June to the 21st August 2015
Address: Borgargatan/Högalidsgatan, 117 34 Stockholm
(see directions page for more information)

The park has a baby pool (which will be filled up next week, hurrah!) and play areas for all ages including an enclosed area for the crawlers and under 3-s . The area for the smaller children has a rubber mat surface, playhouse, sandpit and slide.
There are plenty of seating areas with or without tables, in the sun or shade.

Please make sure to go on Meetup.com playgroup page to RSVP for each Friday. That way, we all know who and how many parents and children will be coming.
